We provide flexible childcare and strive to meet the needs of parents. We operate a successful key-worker approach which provides emotional and practical support to families and Close To Home.

Close to Home keeps a Development Matters and Daily Diary record for each child. Staff and parents work together in partnership to develop and monitor children’s progress. This has proved to be very successful in maintaining individual care plans and we have strong key worker/parent relationships.

Your child’s record of achievement helps us to celebrate together his or her accomplishments. We believe that by working together to meet the needs of your children we can achieve a broader understanding of each individual. This continuity and communication ensures you are fully informed of what and how your child is learning and aids their overall well-being.

You and your child's key-worker will keep this record by collecting information about your child's needs, activities, interests and achievements. This information will enable the key-worker to identify your child's stage of progress. You and your key-worker will then decide on how to help your child to move on to the next stage. Regular reviews and evaluation of our practice ensures that we meet the needs of all the children.

C2H has many policies and procedures in place, ensuring we provide the best service possible, and we are proud of our recent Ofsted report.
